They charged $200, Bay County tow regulations say $145 is max. No signage, they basically stole my car from a space and I had go pay $200 to get it. This was during the air show. I have pics of where my car was parked .I have pics of the surrounding areas showing there is no " no parking signs". I am filing a complaint with PCB police to stop this fraud. They say they are contracted by Pier Park Security who called them. Both will be investigated. Pier Park security says only a Supervisor can call them. I was told the Supervisor does not work on Weekends. I filmed a "spy" in an unmarked car that took down my license plate, and called White's wreck to pick up my car. I have video of this. When I asked the security guard, who was driving his own personal car, which I have pictures and video of. The security guard got very upset and starting cussing and getting irate and was coming towards me for video taping him. I videotaped the whole incident. Also White's tow service is cash only( I have a picture of this posted in their office. Statute 713.78(19)(a). Says under Florida Law towing operators must accept payment in at least 2 forms. Cash, Valid Bank credit card or Valid personal check with ID. A "cash only policy"is in violation of Florida Law.Posted onTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Predatory towing factory. Parked my nephews truck at walmart for under an hour and it got towed. Have spotters watching and taking pictures. Charged $150 to get it out at a hole in the wall location. Modern day Extortion. Went in Walmart but did not have a receipt which i dont think would of mattered. Demanded cash only. Hmmm wonder why they do that.. Just a terrible experience for trying to have a weekend at the beach. I am sure this is a big operation where a lot of ppl are getting paid off.
